Samsung repair costs are unpredictable

The study compared real-world repair patterns and found that Samsung fixes can be 30% to 60% more expensive compared to Apple. On average, iPhone owners pay $75 per incident, while Samsung users shell out $100-$120.

The analysis assumes that screen repairs are the most frequent, followed by accidental damage and replacements. Samsung's costs, however, vary greatly depending on the device model and plan, making them much less predictable than Apple's.

This unpredictability could lead to sticker shock for Samsung customers who thought they had purchased adequate insurance. Instead, they may find themselves facing a repair bill that exceeds their expectations.
