Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 may not feature faster charging speeds, according to leaked Chinese 3C certification documents.

Leaked certifications reveal same 10w charging speed

The certification entries, spotted by SammyGuru, suggest that both devices will stick to 10W charging, the same speed offered with the previous Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch Ultra models.

This information aligns with previous claims that Samsung won't introduce significant design changes or larger batteries on the new smartwatches.

The leaked 3C certification entries include only two entries for devices with model numbers SM-L3550 (Galaxy Watch 9) and SM-L7150 (Galaxy Watch Ultra 2). The absence of the Galaxy Watch 9 Classic, which was previously rumored to join the lineup, is notable.

While Samsung's new smartwatches may not boast faster charging, the company is expected to announce major software improvements for the Samsung Health app, including a new layout and AI-based insights.

This could make the devices more appealing, particularly the potential Galaxy Watch 9 Classic, as it would add new features to an already strong model.
