Pitaka’s new galaxy s26 cases add customizable buttons for enhanced productivity

Samsung's recent unveiling of the Galaxy S26 series comes with a compelling accessory offering from Pitaka: the new Aaron Button system. These cases, available for the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra, introduce three programmable buttons designed to supercharge user productivity and smart control.

The aaron button: a familiar concept, refined

Previously known as the PinButton on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Pitaka's innovation leverages NFC Technology. Users can now customize these three physical buttons to execute a range of actions, from launching apps and Bixby shortcuts to activating phone functions like the flashlight or controlling IoT devices through Samsung SmartThings.

The company's new cases feature the Aaron Button system across the board, eliminating the need to choose between different models. This unified approach streamlines the user experience, allowing for a more personalized and efficient interaction with the device.

While many appreciate the sleek design of new smartphones, the desire for protection is equally strong. Pitaka addresses this with their Edge Case, a remarkably thin (1mm) and lightweight (25 grams) option. Constructed from aerospace-grade aramid fiber, the case maintains the phone’s contours, offering a secure grip while preserving the tactile feel of the device. For those prioritizing robust protection, the Cairn Case offers a more substantial build. It combines an aerospace-grade aramid fiber backing with a TPU shell, providing enhanced impact resistance.
