Oneplus 15t unveils colors, massive battery, and snapdragon 8 gen 5
The OnePlus 15T, long shrouded in leaks, is finally taking shape with official color reveals—and a battery capacity that dwarfs its competition. The upcoming device, teased by OnePlus itself, promises a significant leap in power and endurance.

Oneplus teases color options and release date
A Weibo post from March 9th offered the first official images of the OnePlus 15T (model PLZ110), showcasing at least two color variants. While OnePlus hasn't officially named them, tipster Digital Chat Station suggests these are Relaxed Matcha and Pure Cocoa. A third color, dubbed “Healing White Chocolate” based on earlier whispers, might also be on the way.
But the most intriguing detail? A promotional poster hinting at a potential launch date of March 11th at 7:00 PM CST (China Standard Time), which translates to 4:00 AM PDT / 5:00 AM CDT / 11:00 AM UTC. Although unconfirmed, this has ignited speculation, especially after a user reportedly spotted a promotional poster featuring OnePlus President Li Jie.
Beyond aesthetics, the phone's battery is a major talking point. Li Jie has confirmed a substantial 7,500 mAh capacity, a figure nearly 75% larger than the Samsung Galaxy S23. This is paired with rumors of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and a 6.32-inch OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate.
AnTuTu benchmarks further support this, suggesting the phone will boast the latest Snapdragon chip and Android 16 out of the box. The device's bezels, according to Li Jie, are impressively thin—comparable to the iPhone 17 Pro.
OnePlus has consistently prioritized battery innovation, and the combination of a large capacity and a compact form factor is a compelling proposition. If the performance tests align with the rumored specifications, the 15T could redefine what’s possible in a smartphone.
The focus on battery performance, coupled with the potential for top-tier processing, positions the OnePlus 15T as a serious contender. It’s a testament to the brand’s commitment to delivering power and longevity, a combination consumers increasingly demand.
